On this twin-turbo V6 it is the part that restricts the most. Replacing it is the only way to gain in power, and only with a remap. Without a remap, sound and a little weight off, no power. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not.
