The ROG system replaces it with a valved system you control, without touching the engine or the ECU. Valves closed, you keep the comfortable stock sound. On this naturally aspirated engine its design really matters: lengths and geometry affect cylinder filling at high revs. A real but modest gain, in the order of 3 to 8 %, with a remap. Badly designed, it costs you torque down low. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not.
