On this naturally aspirated 4.0 its design matters: lengths and geometry affect cylinder filling at high revs. The gain is modest, 3 to 8 %, and only with a remap. Badly designed, it loses you torque down low. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not.
