On this supercharged V8 it is the part that restricts the most: replacing it is the only way to gain power, and only with a remap. Without a remap you take sound and a few kilos, no horsepower. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not.
