The ROG system replaces it with a valved system you control, without touching the engine or the ECU. Valves closed, you keep the comfortable stock sound. On this naturally aspirated V8 its design matters: lengths and geometry affect cylinder filling at high revs. With a remap the gain is real but modest, 3 to 8 %. Badly designed, it loses you torque down low. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not.
