On a naturally aspirated engine like this V12 its design matters: lengths and geometry affect cylinder filling at high revs. The gain stays modest, in the order of 3 to 8 % with a remap; badly designed, it loses you torque down low. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not.
