On this turbo four it is the part that restricts the most: replacing it is the only way to draw power from it, and solely with a remap. Without a remap, count on sound and a little weight off, not horsepower. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not.
