On this naturally aspirated V10 its design really plays a part: lengths and geometry govern cylinder filling at high revs. With a remap the gain is real but modest, in the order of 3 to 8 %. Badly designed, it costs you torque down low. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not.
