On this turbo three it is the part that strangles the most: replacing it is the only way to gain power, and only with a remap. Without it you recover sound and a little weight off, not one horse. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not.
