On the turbo K20C1 it is the part that smothers the most: replacing it is the only way to go after power, and only paired with a remap. Without a remap: sound, a little less weight, no extra horsepower. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not.
