On this twin-turbo V8 it is the part that smothers the most: replacing it is the only way to gain power, and only paired with a remap. Without a remap you gain sound and a touch of lightness, not horsepower. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not.
