On this supercharged V6 it is the part that smothers the most. Replacing it is the only way to gain power, and only with a remap. Without a remap: sound, a little less weight, no extra horsepower. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not.
