On a force-fed V6 it is the part that restricts the most: replacing it is the sole way to go after power, and solely with a remap. Without a remap you will have the sound and a few kilos off, nothing beyond that. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not.
