Its stock system is drawn for silence: on board, the engine almost never shows itself. The ROG system replaces it with a valved system you control, without touching the engine or the ECU. Valves closed, you keep the comfortable stock sound. On this M254 turbo four it is the part that smothers the most, and replacing it is the only way to gain in power, but only with a remap. Without a remap: sound, a little less weight, no power. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not.
