On this turbo four it is the part that smothers the most, and replacing it is the only way to gain power, solely when paired with a remap. Without a remap: sound, a little less weight, no power. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not.
