On this twin-turbo V8 it is the main restriction. Replacing it is the only way to release power, and solely with a remap. Without a remap you take sound and a little mass off, nothing more. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not.
