The M140i Akrapovič: two versions.

As of 6 November 2026, Akrapovič's catalogue offers two systems for the M140i depending on the car: a titanium Slip-On Line, the rear part of the system, for 2018 and 2019 M140i cars with particulate filter, and a stainless steel Evolution Line for M140i cars without a filter, whose link pipes are a reference sold separately.

The Rog system replaces everything after the downpipe, on the five-door F20 as on the three-door F21.

The B58 sound: your choice.

The M140i gets the B58, a 3.0-litre turbocharged straight six, 340 hp and 500 Nm. As standard, the filter and silencers reduce its round voice to a whisper. The Rog system lets you choose:

• the character, at the same price: straight pipe for the raw sound of the straight six, or resonator for a rounder, slightly softer voice;
• the material: 304 stainless steel, or titanium about 40% lighter for the same design (+ €500), in a brushed, gold or purple finish;

• the control, at the same price: your original valves, refitted on the system and still controlled by the drive modes, or Rog valves already fitted, with their remote;
• the front section, as an option: 200-cell or 100-cell catalysed downpipe (+ €650), or decat (+ €420).

Valves open, the straight six releases a round bass at idle, an even climb through the revs and clean crackles. Valves closed, the hatchback returns to a voice close to standard, without drone. The system fits without welding, with clamps and gaskets, in about two hours at the garage of your choice.
