The Alfa Romeo Stelvio 2.0 Turbo exhaust in detail.
The Stelvio 949 with the 2.0 Turbo engine, produced from 2017 to 2021, is the SUV that shares the Giulia’s mechanicals: a turbocharged petrol four-cylinder offered from 200 hp and 330 Nm to 280 hp and 400 Nm depending on the version. This system is dedicated to it, built to your Stelvio’s VIN; the Giulia 2.0 Turbo and the V6 Quadrifoglio models have their own pages.
You expect little music from an SUV, and the Stelvio’s factory exhaust makes sure nothing sticks out, especially as the revs rise. At Alfa Romeo, that is a shame: the brand has always sold temperament. The Rog valved cat-back corrects this, with a full tone under load and crackles when you lift off, valves open. Once the valves are closed again, the Stelvio goes back to being the hushed family car for the school run.
The system is fitted without welding, using band clamps and gaskets, in about two hours on a lift, and the valves follow the factory control when the Stelvio has one; otherwise, a unit in the boot and the two-button Rog remote take care of it.
To go further, the page offers the four-cylinder’s downpipe, under the “Manifold” option, which brings sound and a slight weight saving without an ECU remap, but no power; with a remap, the published Stage 2 figures for the 280 hp Stelvio are 326 hp and 483 Nm. In its 200-cell version, the SUV keeps its emissions control; the 100-cell will be accepted or not depending on the vehicle and your country’s rules, and on a family SUV as elsewhere, the decat version is reserved for track use. 304 stainless steel and titanium, around 40% lighter and offered in brushed, gold or purple, then share the choice of material, with round tips.

Questions about the Alfa Romeo Stelvio 2.0 Turbo exhaust.
Does the 200 hp Stelvio 2.0 Turbo take the same system as the 280 hp version?
Yes, the page covers both power levels of the Stelvio 949 2.0 Turbo between 2017 and 2021. Your VIN, requested with the order, lets us validate compatibility before manufacturing, particularly for model years at the edges of the range.
Does the Stelvio 2.0 Turbo need an ECU remap once the system is fitted?
Not with the cat-back alone, which does not touch the ECU. An ECU remap is justified if you add the downpipe: it is what converts the freed-up flow into horsepower, up to the 326 hp published for the 280 hp version.
Can a modified Stelvio 2.0 Turbo go for its vehicle inspection?
Yes, with the valves closed, with a sound close to that of the standard SUV. The cat-back alone and the 200-cell downpipe leave emissions control in place. For the 100-cell, everything depends on the vehicle and the country’s rules; the decat version remains reserved for the track.
On a long journey, does the Stelvio 949 drone with the Rog exhaust?
With the valves closed, the cabin stays calm at a steady speed, which matters on a touring SUV. You open them again when the road allows, without going through the car’s menus if you have chosen the remote.
