Le VQ37VHR de la 370Z appartient à la lignée VQ, longtemps citée parmi les meilleurs moteurs du monde : un V6 3,7 litres atmosphérique, 328 ch et 363 Nm, qui monte haut avec un timbre râpeux devenu culte dans la scène japonaise. D’usine, il passe par une ligne de 26,8 kg qui ne délivre qu’une fraction de ce caractère.

Clapets ouverts, le cat-back Rog à valves délivre le reste : le timbre VQ râpeux et présent, la montée rageuse, les crépitements au lever de pied. Clapets fermés, la Z redevient discrète pour les trajets du quotidien. La fiche vise la 370Z Z34 Roadster de 2019, hors Nismo, qui a sa propre fiche ; votre VIN est vérifié avant fabrication.

Deux heures environ suffisent pour installer la ligne sous la Z, par colliers et joints, sans soudure ; les clapets suivent leur commande d’origine si la voiture en possède, sinon la télécommande Rog, dont le boîtier trouve sa place dans le coffre.
