The Golf GTI and R of generations 7 and 8 share the same flaw: a capable engine, and an original line that smothers it. Acoustic standards and particulate filters have gradually erased the sound character of these four-cylinder engines, to the point where many owners no longer recognise their car.
This page gathers the four Rog® lines developed for these models: Golf 7 GTI, Golf 7 R, Golf 8 GTI and Golf 8 R. Each one is fitted with the valve system: with the valves closed, the sound level stays within the regulatory limits and the car can be used every day; with the valves open, the sound expresses itself fully.
Every line is semi-bespoke: you choose the material (stainless steel or titanium), the manifold type and the tip finish. Fitting is done on the original mounting points, with no cutting.
