FAQ
Answers to your questions about our valved exhaust systems. Can't find yours? Email us at contact@rogmotorsport.com, with your car's VIN if your question is about a specific model.
Ordering and production.
What is Rog?
Rog, or RogMotorsport, is a French brand of valved exhaust systems. We make stainless steel and titanium exhausts to order for 418 models from 28 makes, from hot hatches to supercars.
How are your exhausts made?
Each exhaust is made to order for your car, based on its VIN: pipe bending, TIG welding, fitting and adjustment of the valves, then inspection of the geometry, welds and joints before shipping. The details: Custom stainless steel exhaust.
Why do I need to give my car's VIN?
The VIN lets us check the exact version, the model year and the compatibility of every part before starting production. You will find it in field E of your registration certificate.
Is my car covered?
We make exhausts for 418 models from 28 makes. Look for your car on the brands page; if it is not listed, email us with its VIN.
What is the delivery time?
Allow 20 working days between payment confirmation and delivery. A tracking number is sent to you automatically as soon as your order ships.
Sound and valves.
Do your exhausts drone on the motorway?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed, just as with the factory exhaust. Our exhausts are engineered to avoid drone: why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
How do the valves work?
When closed, they route the gases through the whole silencer: the car stays close to its original sound. When open, the gases take the freest path and the engine finds its voice. You control them through the factory driving modes, or with the Rog remote.
Can I keep my car's factory valves?
Yes. If your car has factory valves, the exhaust can take over their control: the driving modes stay in charge. Otherwise, the Rog remote opens and closes them with a single touch.
Stainless steel or titanium: which should I choose?
Stainless steel gives a deep sound with excellent value for money. Titanium weighs around 40% less and gives a higher-pitched, more metallic tone; it costs €500 to €1,000 more depending on the model.
Does an exhaust system add power?
A cat-back exhaust mainly changes the sound: a few hp at best. The power gain comes from the front section, downpipe or manifold, together with an ECU remap. The details: Cat-back vs full exhaust.
Price and payment.
How much does a Rog exhaust cost?
From €2,190 to €5,090 in stainless steel depending on the car, valves and delivery included. Titanium adds €500 to €1,000, and the front section is an option: the full price breakdown.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes, paying in instalments with Klarna is offered at checkout, subject to eligibility.
Delivery, warranty and returns.
Is delivery included in the price?
Yes, to every country we deliver to. Your exhaust is delivered against signature, protected and insured, with a tracking number.
What is the warranty?
Every exhaust is covered by a 3-year warranty against manufacturing and material defects, from the date of purchase.
How is the exhaust fitted?
With clamps and gaskets, no welding: around two hours for a properly equipped mechanic, ideally on a vehicle lift.
Can I return my exhaust?
Each exhaust is made to order to your configuration: it falls under the exception to the right of withdrawal for personalised goods. A return is still possible on request and with our agreement: email contact@rogmotorsport.com with your order number.
Vehicle inspection.
Will my car be able to pass its vehicle inspection?
With the valves closed, the noise level stays close to stock. A cat-back exhaust leaves emissions control untouched; with a front section, the 200-cell sports catalytic converter retains it. Acceptance always depends on the vehicle and the rules in your country: our vehicle inspection guide.
