ROG® valved exhaust system — Lamborghini Gallardo 5.0 V10 (2004–2007)

The Gallardo 2004–2007 is built around a naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V10, an engine that lives high in the revs and whose repertoire the stock system largely masks. The ROG system replaces it with a valved system you control, without touching the engine or the ECU. Valves closed, you keep the comfortable stock sound. Open, you hear the V10 climb.

Performances

At ROG we go after the best, which is why we always recommend a remap at an approved centre after fitting. Our systems fit perfectly with or without, but it is with a full remap that your engine will express all of its potential.

The Manifold option: what it replaces

Between the engine and our system, one stock part remains, the one that holds the catalytic converter. On this naturally aspirated V10 its design matters: lengths and geometry affect cylinder filling at high revs. With a remap the gain is real but modest, in the order of 3 to 8 %. Badly designed, it costs you torque down low. The 200-cell sport catalytic converter retains exhaust after-treatment; the 100-cell version and the catalyst-free variant do not. No component type approval exists for these parts: check the regulations in your country before fitting.

Le système s'installe uniquement par colliers de serrage haute résistance avec joints garantis sans fuite. Le flux des gaz est optimisé dès la première mise en route.

Temps de montage
En moyenne 2 heures pour un mécanicien équipé. L'utilisation d'un pont de levage est recommandée.

Garantie
Toutes les lignes ROG sont couvertes par une garantie 3 ans pièces et fabrication à compter de la date de livraison.

Système à clapets
Les clapets contrôlent l'ouverture et la fermeture du silencieux en temps réel. En position fermée, la ligne reste discrète au quotidien. En position ouverte, le son se libère pleinement.
