The Audi A6 / A6 Avant C7 3.0 TFSI V6 exhaust in detail.
The A6 C7’s 3.0 TFSI is a 3.0-litre V6 boosted by a mechanical supercharger housed between its two cylinder banks. Driven by the engine, it delivers its boost without delay: torque arrives early and power is delivered in a linear way. The page shows three outputs between 2012 and 2018: 300 hp and 420 Nm, 310 hp and 420 Nm, then 333 hp and 440 Nm.
Unleashed, this V6 has a deep, even voice, with a metallic edge as it climbs through the revs. The factory exhaust piles up muffler volume and reduces everything to a muffled breath: you feel the shove, but your ears do not follow. With the valves open, the valved Rog cat-back adds body to the bass and every acceleration can be heard right up to the next gear; with the valves closed, the A6 becomes composed again.
The system is designed for the A6 C7 alone: the A7 of the same generation is not covered by this page. For fitting, no welding or cutting: clamps, gaskets and about two hours are enough, with four round tailpipes finishing the system. The valves follow the original control if there is one, otherwise the Rog remote, with its box in the trunk.
Offered under the name “Manifold”, this page’s option replaces the parts placed just after the engine, which carry the catalytic converters. For an A6 V6 that remains a road-going sedan, the 200-cell version is the right one, since it maintains emissions control on both cylinder banks; the 100-cell is accepted or not depending on the vehicle and your country’s rules, and the decat version is reserved for track use. The supercharger does not deliver a single extra horsepower without an ECU remap: the benefit is in the sound, with a little less weight. 304 stainless steel and titanium, around 40% lighter, are both offered, the latter in brushed, gold or purple.

Questions about the Audi A6 / A6 Avant C7 3.0 TFSI V6 exhaust.
Does the A6 C7 3.0 TFSI system fit an A7?
No: only the A6 with the 3.0 TFSI engine from the 2012 to 2018 model years is listed. If you have an A7, contact us with the VIN: we will tell you what exists for it.
With an ECU remap, what figures are published for the 333 hp A6 C7 V6?
Nothing to change in the ECU for the cat-back alone. Combined with the front section and a suitable map, it leads to the published Stage 2 figures of 441 hp and 546 Nm.
What should be planned for the vehicle inspection of a valved A6 C7 V6?
Come with the valves closed, and the V6 regains its factory discretion. Exhaust gas treatment does not change with the cat-back alone or a 200-cell front section. A 100-cell front section is accepted or not depending on the car and the rules in your country; in decat form, it reserves the A6 for track use.
Which material should you choose for an A6 C7 3.0 TFSI exhaust?
For a sedan that eats up the miles, 304 stainless steel is robust and round-sounding. Titanium takes around 40% off the system’s weight for the same design and sounds clearer at high revs.
Does the A6 Avant C7 3.0 TFSI take the same system as the sedan?
Yes. The A6 C7 sedan and Avant take the same Rog system: same chassis, same 3.0 TFSI V6, same clamp-and-gasket fitting. Your VIN is only used to confirm the version and model year before manufacturing.
Audi A6 / A6 Avant C7 3.0 TFSI V6: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear muffler and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the highway.
Audi A6 / A6 Avant C7 3.0 TFSI V6: straight pipe or resonator?
On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.
