The N74 V12: twelve twin-turbo cylinders powering the M760i
The N74 is a twin-turbo V12, one of the last twelve-cylinder engines in BMW's history. In the M760i G12 it produces 610 hp and 800 Nm, sent to all four wheels. Torque arrives very early and stays available across a wide band, so this limousine accelerates with disconcerting ease, without ever seeming to strain.
On an engine this powerful and this refined, the exhaust system makes all the difference between a V12 you can sense and a V12 you can live. The one on the standard M760i is calibrated to preserve silence on board, to the point of making you forget its layout.
