The Toyota GR Supra A90 2.0 B48 exhaust in detail.
Under the long bonnet of the GR Supra A90 2.0 hides the B48, a 2.0-litre inline four-cylinder designed by BMW, with a twin-scroll turbo and direct injection: 258 hp and 400 Nm, with plenty of torque from low revs. More compact than the six-cylinder of the other version, it lightens the front and gives the Supra 2.0 a sharp front end.
The B48 has a dry, energetic voice, with a marked grain as the turbo builds boost; in the factory Supra, this character remains a sketch, a neutral drone far removed from the coupé’s image. With the valves open, the Rog valved cat-back gives it a thicker bass, lively revving and acceleration you can hear; with the valves closed, the Supra regains the calm of the factory exhaust.
Our parts for the Supra 2.0 are not to be confused with those for the six-cylinder 3.0, which has its own page, and your coupé’s VIN is checked before manufacturing. About two hours is enough to fit it, with clamps and gaskets, no welding, with the original valve control if it exists, and the Rog remote otherwise.
The downpipe that follows the B48’s turbo carries the catalytic converter; the page sells it under the “Manifold” option. On a B48 still on the factory map, this part only frees up the sound and saves a little weight; remapped, the Supra 2.0 reaches the 330 hp and 515 Nm published at Stage 2. For a Supra 2.0 that also serves for the commute, the 200-cell downpipe is the right candidate, since it keeps emissions control; the 100-cell will be accepted or not depending on the car and the rules in your country, and the decat version remains reserved for track use. Round tips, 304 stainless steel or titanium around 40% lighter, in brushed, gold or purple.

Questions about the Toyota GR Supra A90 2.0 Turbo B48 exhaust.
Four or six cylinders: how do I know if my GR Supra A90 falls under the 2.0 B48 page?
The engine decides: the 2.0 page concerns the four-cylinder B48, while the B58-engined 3.0 has its own system; if in doubt, your Supra’s VIN, checked before manufacturing, removes any ambiguity.
On the GR Supra A90 2.0, what does an ECU remap change after the downpipe?
It turns the freed-up flow into power: 330 hp and 515 Nm according to the Stage 2 figures published for the B48. Without a downpipe, the cat-back works perfectly well with the factory map.
Toyota GR Supra A90 Mk5 2.0 Turbo B48 with a Rog exhaust: what should you know about vehicle inspection?
The safest configuration combines closed valves and an original or 200-cell downpipe: catalytic converter active, voice close to stock. With the 100-cell, everything depends on the car and the country; in decat form, the Supra stays on the track.
Which material best brings out the B48’s character in the GR Supra A90 2.0?
Titanium, around 40% lighter for the same design, underlines the B48’s dry, energetic character at high revs and comes in brushed, gold or purple; 304 stainless steel gives a rounder bass and copes with winter.
Toyota GR Supra A90 2.0 Turbo B48: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
Toyota GR Supra A90 2.0 Turbo B48: straight pipe or resonator?
On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.
