Lamborghini Urus 4.0 V8 Valved Exhaust (2020-2022)
Valves
Operated by remote control, paired in our workshop.
Estimated at 0.50 m from the outlet, 45°, 2,000 rpm with a warm engine. Allow ± 2 dB depending on the engine and measuring point. A 3 dB difference is audible in a direct comparison; 10 dB sounds roughly twice as loud.

The Lamborghini Urus 4.0 V8 exhaust in detail.
Supercar lap times and five seats: the Urus owes its character to a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, 650 hp and 850 Nm. This page covers the 2020 to 2022 model years of the original Urus, without the S or Performante versions. The Aventador and Huracán, with naturally aspirated engines, have their own pages.
Lamborghini took care over its voice, more expressive than that of its technical cousins, but the turbos already absorb much of the sound and the factory exhaust keeps the thunder under control. On a car whose character is excess, this restraint stands out. With the valves open, our valved cat-back makes the V8 rumble as you would expect, with clear bangs on the overrun; with the valves closed, the Urus becomes the discreet family SUV it can also be.
Our supplier replaces its first reference, which had no silencer, with a complete system with a transverse silencer and valves, keeping the original oval tips. About two hours in the workshop, with no welding, is enough to fit it with clamps and gaskets, and the Urus drive modes stay in charge of the factory valves; the Rog remote remains an option otherwise.
On this twin-turbo, the “Manifold” option refers to the downpipes that follow the turbos with their catalytic converters. As the super-SUV remains a family car, its downpipes are best chosen with 200 cells, emissions control maintained; with 100 cells, they are accepted or not depending on the car and the rules in your country, and their decat version is reserved for track use. Without a new map, the V8 stays at 650 hp. 304 stainless steel and titanium, around 40% lighter, are both in the Urus catalogue, titanium in four colours.

Questions about the Lamborghini Urus 4.0 V8 biturbo exhaust.
Can my Urus S or Performante take this system?
No, our supplier lists the original 2020 to 2022 Urus, without the S and Performante versions. Write to us with your car’s VIN: we look at what exists for it.
Which Stage 2 for the 650 hp Urus?
The cat-back fits with the Lamborghini engine management as it is. With the downpipes and an ECU remap at an approved tuning centre, the page lists 740 hp and 1,050 Nm for this twin-turbo V8.
Does a valved Urus go through the vehicle inspection without difficulty?
Closing the valves is all it takes to regain stock discretion. On the emissions side, nothing changes with the cat-back alone or 200-cell downpipes. A 100-cell is judged according to the car and the rules in your country; without a catalytic converter, the Urus is destined for the track.
On the motorway, does the equipped Urus stay relaxing?
Yes, with the valves closed: the transverse silencer does its cruising job and the family travels in peace. The V8’s thunder returns as soon as you open the valves.
