What Akrapovič offers for the M3 G80 and M4 G82.

On its official page, Akrapovič describes its Slip-On Line (Titanium) for the M3 G80 and G81 and the M4 G82 and G83:

• a titanium rear muffler, with two collectors cast in the brand's foundry, 35% lighter than stock (8.3 kg less); the mid-pipe stays stock;
• valves, controlled by a mandatory control kit sold separately, for a rich tone when cruising, deeper and sportier when driven hard;
• carbon-sleeved tailpipes, octagonal or round, also mandatory and sold separately;
• a gain measured on the brand's dyno: 8 kW (10.9 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 13.9 Nm at 5,000 rpm against a stock M4 Competition, without remapping;
• ECE type approval valid for cars fitted with the gasoline particulate filter and the S58B30C engine (Euro 6 phase III), but not for the CS and CSL.

As options, the brand offers "Evolution" link pipes and downpipes, with or without a catalytic converter, reserved for closed circuits: they require a remap, and the stainless-steel link pipes remove the stock secondary catalytic converters. • a set of tailpipes, mandatory, chosen from three part numbers (TP-CT/68, TP-CT/69 or TP-CT/73/CF);
• a control kit, mandatory: P-HF1736 for the S58B30C engine, P-HF1383 for cars without particulate filter and for the S58B30A and S58B30B engines;
• as options, the Sound Kit P-HF1384, which voids the ECE type approval, and fitting at your garage.

At the public prices of the official Akrapovič agent in France (October 2026), the mandatory parts together cost from around €8,300: the Slip-On Line S-BM/T/40H, the TP-CT/68 set of tailpipes, the cheapest of the three, and the P-HF1736 or P-HF1383 control kit, both at the same price. The Sound Kit and fitting are extra, and the final price depends on your dealer.

Even complete, this quote leaves the stock mid-pipe in place: replacing it takes the link pipes, which are reserved for the track.

The S58 sound: one design, or three.

The S58 is a twin-turbo straight six: each turbo takes the gases of three cylinders, then two pipes run to the rear. • Standard: the original layout, without a resonator, and the raw grain of the twin-turbo;
• Equal Length: two pipes of the same length, the pulses arrive in rhythm and the note rises, purer and smoother;
