The Jaguar F-Type X152 V8 5.0 exhaust in detail.
The F-Type X152’s supercharged 5.0-litre V8 is famous for one thing: its voice. A wild rumble, crackles in bursts, a temperament Jaguar embraced as a selling point, before regulations came along and tamed the recent model years. Even the early cars keep something in reserve that the factory exhaust does not deliver.
The page covers the V8 F-Type from 2014 to 2019, in its versions from 495 to 575 hp and 625 to 700 Nm. The V6 3.0 and 2.0 Turbo F-Types have their own pages; your VIN lets us check compatibility before manufacturing.
With the valves open, the Rog valved cat-back gives the V8 back its big-cat rumble, the volleys of bangs on the overrun and that presence which made the early F-Types famous. With the valves closed, you drive into your street without waking the neighbourhood. Fitting, without welding, using clamps and gaskets, takes about two hours; the factory valve control is retained if it exists, otherwise the Rog remote decides.
No front part on this page: the system connects behind the factory catalytic converters, without an ECU remap, and the V8 keeps its factory power. The four round exits come in 304 stainless steel, whose full sound suits the supercharger’s deep note, or in titanium around 40% lighter, available in brushed, gold or purple.

Questions about the Jaguar F-Type X152 V8 5.0 exhaust.
Are all F-Type X152 V8s from 2014 to 2019 covered?
The page is for the F-Type V8 5.0 over this period, from 495 to 575 hp. As the versions followed one another, we check your car’s VIN before starting manufacturing.
Does the supercharged F-Type V8 5.0 need an ECU remap?
No: with no front part, the cat-back fits an engine left stock. It transforms the voice and lightens the rear, without touching the map or the horsepower.
How does a modified F-Type X152 V8 present at vehicle inspection?
With the valves closed, the big cat retracts its claws and returns to a sound close to stock. The factory catalytic converters stay in place, as this page offers no front section, which leaves emissions control unchanged.
Can the F-Type V8 5.0 fitted with the system come home late without waking the neighbours?
Yes: with the valves closed, it stays calm when cruising as well as in town. The V8’s show returns on demand, via the original modes or at the press of a button on the Rog remote.
Does the F-Type X152 V8 convertible take the same system as the coupé?
Yes. The coupé and the convertible take the same Rog system: same chassis, same engine, same clamp-and-gasket fitting. Your VIN is only used to confirm the version and model year before manufacturing.
Jaguar F-Type X152 V8 5.0: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
Jaguar F-Type X152 V8 5.0: straight pipe or resonator?
On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.
