Operated by remote control, factory-paired.
Estimated at 0.50 m from the outlet, 45°, 2,000 rpm with a warm engine. Allow ± 2 dB depending on the engine and measuring point. A 3 dB difference is audible in a direct comparison; 10 dB sounds roughly twice as loud.

The Lamborghini Gallardo / Gallardo Spyder 5.0 V10 exhaust in detail.
The first Gallardo, from 2004 to 2007, lives around a naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V10 that revs beyond 8,000 rpm, with instant response and that Sant’Agata howl nothing can replace. The page shows two versions, 500 hp then 520 hp, with 510 Nm. The Gallardo LP550, LP560 and LP570 with the 5.2 engine have their own page.
The factory exhaust is expressive, but sized for the regulations: it masks a good part of the V10’s repertoire. With the valves open, our valved cat-back lets the harmonics explode at high revs and the bangs crack on the overrun; with the valves closed, the car becomes liveable in town, which is also quite a feat for a Lamborghini.
Upstream of the cat-back, the option labelled “Manifold” changes the Gallardo’s front components, catalytic converters included. For a Gallardo used on the open road, the 200-cell parts are the ones that keep emissions control; in 100-cell form, they are accepted or not depending on the car and the rules in your country, and in decat form, they are reserved for track use. A naturally aspirated engine only draws a modest benefit, 3 to 8% once remapped, which for the 520 hp version means the 570 hp and 562 Nm published at Stage 2.
Compact, silencer and valves included, the cat-back is fixed with clamps and gaskets, no welding, in about two hours, and exits through the diffuser. Factory control retained if there is one, otherwise the Rog remote. For materials, the Gallardo takes 304 stainless steel as well as titanium, around 40% lighter, finished in brushed, gold or purple.

Questions about the Lamborghini Gallardo / Gallardo Spyder 5.0 V10 exhaust.
Gallardo 5.0 Spyder: same system as the coupé?
Yes. The Gallardo 5.0 coupé and Spyder, launched in 2006, take the same Rog system, with the same V10 and the same clamp-and-gasket fitting. Your VIN is only used to confirm the version and model year before manufacturing.
What is the point of changing the front section on a Gallardo 5.0?
It is mainly about sound and breathing: a naturally aspirated engine of this type only gains 3 to 8% once remapped. The cat-back alone, which already carries the V10’s whole voice, is often enough.
Vehicle inspection: which configuration should be presented for a Gallardo 5.0?
Close the valves and keep the cat-back alone or a 200-cell front section: the V10 returns to a volume close to stock and its emissions control stays complete. A 100-cell part will be judged according to the car and the rules in your country, and the decat version belongs on the track only.
Does the Gallardo 5.0’s ECU need to be modified for the cat-back?
No change is required: the factory Lamborghini engine management is fine. An ECU remap only makes sense with the front section, for the 570 hp and 562 Nm published for the 520 hp version.
Lamborghini Gallardo / Gallardo Spyder 5.0 V10: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
