Configuration
Lexus GS F L10 V8 5.0 Valved Exhaust (2015-2018)
Valves
Operated by remote control, paired in our workshop.
Estimated at 0.50 m from the outlet, 45°, 2,000 rpm with a warm engine. Allow ± 2 dB depending on the engine and measuring point. A 3 dB difference is audible in a direct comparison; 10 dB sounds roughly twice as loud.

The Lexus GS F L10 V8 5.0 exhaust in detail.
A large saloon with 477 hp and 530 Nm, driven by a 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 that revs past 7,000 rpm: the 2015 to 2018 GS F L10 is a special case. Its 2UR-GSE, assembled with watchmaking precision, is among the finest modern V8s, but its factory exhaust is made so that you can hardly hear it.
Important: this page concerns the left-hand-drive GS F, the only configuration for which the front part is listed. For right-hand drive or any doubt about your car, the VIN, checked before manufacturing, decides. Among the other Lexus models with the V8 5.0, the IS F, RC F, IS500 and LC500 are covered by separate pages.
With the Rog valved cat-back, the big saloon changes character as soon as the valves open: the V8 gains presence at idle, then its howl becomes purer as it approaches 7,300 rpm. Closed again, the valves give the GS F back its calm as a long-distance cruiser. For fitting, allow about two hours under the car, no welding, and choose between the factory valve control, if it exists, and the Rog remote.
The “Manifold” option replaces the 2UR-GSE’s manifolds, which house the original catalytic converter. On a naturally aspirated engine, their geometry matters, and an ECU remap extracts a real but modest gain of around 3 to 8%; without one, it is the voice that benefits. On this four-door saloon, only the 200-cell version keeps emissions control; the 100-cell will be accepted or not depending on the car and the rules in your country, and the decat version is reserved for track use, somewhere the GS F rarely goes. The blued titanium round tips are the GS F’s signature, whatever the material of the system, 304 stainless steel or titanium around 40% lighter and finished in brushed, chrome, gold or purple.

Questions about the Lexus GS F L10 V8 5.0 2UR-GSE conduite à gauche exhaust.
My Lexus GS F L10 is right-hand drive: is the system compatible?
The front part on this page is listed for the left-hand-drive GS F. For a right-hand-drive car, do not order without a check: send us the VIN and we verify before manufacturing.
On the GS F L10, is an ECU remap worthwhile without the manifolds?
Hardly: the cat-back works with the 2UR-GSE’s factory map. It is with the manifolds that an ECU remap brings a modest gain, around 3 to 8%, the main benefit remaining the V8’s crescendo and breathing.
Does anything need removing on the GS F L10 before the vehicle inspection?
No, if you keep original or 200-cell manifolds: with the valves closed, the saloon regains its factory reserve, catalytic converters active. 100-cell manifolds will be judged according to the car and the rules in your country; in decat form, they do not leave the track.
Does the GS F L10 with a Rog system keep its grand touring comfort?
Yes. With the valves closed, it eats up the motorway without drone, like a standard GS F, and the 2UR-GSE’s howl remains an option, activated with a single gesture when the road suits.
