Configuration
Lexus RC F XC10 V8 5.0 Valved Exhaust System (2016-2020)
Valves
Operated by remote control, factory-paired.
Estimated at 0.50 m from the outlet, 45°, 2,000 rpm with a warm engine. Allow ± 2 dB depending on the engine and measuring point. A 3 dB difference is audible in a direct comparison; 10 dB sounds roughly twice as loud.
Configuration guide

The Lexus RC F XC10 V8 5.0 exhaust in detail.
XC10 coupé, 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8, maximum revs beyond 7,000 rpm: the 2016 to 2020 RC F continues the Lexus F line with the 2UR-GSE, rated at 477 hp and 530 Nm in its first European version. Yet its factory exhaust makes it surprisingly discreet, to the point of making you forget what is turning under the bonnet.
With the valves open, the Rog valved cat-back unleashes the V8’s crescendo: presence at all revs, an ever purer howl towards 7,300 rpm, sharp bangs on the overrun. With the valves closed, the coupé regains its Lexus refinement, intact. The RC200t and RC350, as well as the IS F, GS F, IS500 and LC500, each have their own page; your VIN is checked before manufacturing.
With clamps and gaskets, without welding, the system fits in about two hours, and the valves follow the factory control if the RC F has one, with the Rog remote, its box in the boot, operating them otherwise.
Under the “Manifold” option, the page sells the 2UR-GSE manifolds, shared by the RC F, GS F and IS500, with their integrated catalytic converter. On this naturally aspirated V8, a combined ECU remap yields a real but modest gain, in the order of 3 to 8%; without it, the voice changes more than the figures. On a 477 hp coupé that also serves every day, the 200-cell manifolds keep emissions control, the 100-cell ones are accepted or not depending on the car and the rules in your country, and the decat version is reserved for track use, for RC Fs entered in track days. The RC F’s round blued titanium tips cap an exhaust in 304 stainless steel or titanium, the latter around 40% lighter.

Questions about the Lexus RC F XC10 V8 5.0 exhaust.
Can the RC350 and RC200t, with the same XC10 body, take the RC F V8 system?
No, their engines differ and each has its own page; this one follows the 2016 to 2020 RC F with the V8 5.0, and your coupé’s VIN is checked before manufacturing.
What does an RC F XC10 gain from being remapped after fitting?
With the cat-back alone, nothing decisive: the factory map is fine. With the manifolds, a suitable map brings a modest gain of around 3 to 8%; on the RC F, it is above all the crescendo towards 7,300 rpm that changes.
Which configuration should you choose to take an RC F XC10 to its vehicle inspection?
Valves closed, factory or 200-cell manifolds: the coupé regains its factory discretion and active catalytic converters. The 100-cell will be accepted or not depending on the vehicle and your country; in decat form, the RC F stays on the track.
Stainless steel or titanium to go with the blued tips of the RC F XC10?
Titanium, around 40% lighter for the same design, naturally complements the RC F’s round blued titanium tips and gives a more crystalline tone around 7,300 rpm. 304 stainless steel remains the tough choice, with a fuller sound.
Lexus RC F XC10 V8 5.0: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
Lexus RC F XC10 V8 5.0: straight pipe or resonator?
On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.
