The Mercedes-Benz GLB250 X247 exhaust in detail.
The GLB250 X247 is a family SUV, and that is precisely why its exhaust matters: it decides whether it stays neutral or has character. Its 2.0-litre turbocharged M260 four-cylinder delivers 224 hp and 350 Nm, with torque available early that moves the bulk effortlessly, even when loaded, on GLB250s built between 2019 and 2026.
This engine’s voice is more assertive than you might think: a hoarse, slightly dry grain that grows as the boost comes in. The standard exhaust erases it completely. With the family on board, keep the valves closed and the GLB remains the serene SUV you know; alone at the wheel, open them for a louder start-up and punchier acceleration. That is the whole point of a valved cat-back.
The system is built for your VIN and fits without welding, with clamps and gaskets, in about two hours. Factory valve control if your GLB250 has it; otherwise the Rog remote, whose unit is hidden in the boot. The GLB35 AMG, on the same body, has its own page.
On this M260, the “Manifold” option corresponds to the downpipe, identical to the GLB35’s according to parts manufacturers. For a family SUV, 200 cells, which keep emissions control, are the natural choice. The 100-cell version will be accepted or not depending on the car and the rules in your country, and the decat variant is reserved for track use, far from a boot full of luggage. None of these parts adds power without an ECU remap. Material: 304 stainless steel goes the distance, titanium saves around 40% of the mass and comes in three finishes.

Questions about the Mercedes-Benz GLB250 X247 2.0 turbo exhaust.
Can a 2025 model year GLB250 X247 take this exhaust?
Our page covers the GLB250 X247 2.0 turbo from 2019 to 2026. Send us your VIN; the check always comes before manufacturing. The GLB35 has its own dedicated page.
Does the GLB250 gain power with the system?
Not with the cat-back alone, which acts on sound and weight. With the downpipe and an ECU remap, the page publishes 265 hp and 470 Nm at Stage 2, mostly torque, clearly felt on an SUV of this size.
Vehicle inspection: how should a modified GLB250 X247 be presented?
Valves closed, cat-back alone or 200-cell downpipe: the catalytic converter does its job and the SUV stays as discreet as a standard model. In 100-cell form, it is case by case, depending on the vehicle and your country; the decat version is reserved for track use, which rules it out for family use.
Will my passengers hear the system all the time in the GLB250?
No. As long as the valves stay closed, the gases run through the silencer and the cabin keeps its original calm. You decide when to open them, via the original control or the Rog remote.
Mercedes-Benz GLB250 X247 2.0 turbo: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
