The Nissan Z RZ34 V6 3.0 exhaust in detail.
The Nissan Z RZ34, built since 2022, entrusts its rear-wheel drive to the VR30DDTT, a 3.0-litre V6 with direct injection and two turbos: 405 hp and 475 Nm, generous torque from the mid-range, sent to the rear wheels only. The coupé has the lively, playful character of the Zs before it.
On a twin-turbo V6, the turbines already dampen part of the pulses, and the factory exhaust finishes smoothing the sound: the RZ34 seems tamer than its driving suggests. With the valves open, the valved Rog cat-back gives it a more present idle, furious climbs through the revs and an audible turbo whoosh; with the valves closed, it stays docile for daily journeys.
Our parts cover the RZ34 built since 2022, known as the Fairlady Z in Japan and called the “400Z” in some catalogues, and each system is built to the car’s VIN, checked before production. About two hours to fit, with clamps and gaskets, no welding, and valves controlled by the original switchgear or, failing that, by the Rog remote.
Just after the VR30DDTT’s two turbos, a downpipe carries the catalytic converter, and it is this part that the page replaces under the “Manifold” option. Without an ECU remap, it acts on voice and weight, without adding horsepower; it is the map that turns this flow into power, with no Stage 2 figure published on the page. For a Z used on the road, the 200-cell downpipe is the one that keeps emissions control, the 100-cell will be accepted or not depending on the car and the rules in your country, and the decat version is reserved for track use, for RZ34s prepared for the track. The RZ34’s round tips can be ordered in 304 stainless steel or titanium, a metal around 40% lighter that comes in three colours.

Questions about the Nissan Z RZ34 V6 3.0 exhaust.
Can a 370Z, which preceded the Z RZ34, take this twin-turbo V6 exhaust?
No: the 370Z and 370Z Nismo, with their naturally aspirated V6, have their own pages. This one targets the twin-turbo V6 Z RZ34 built since 2022, and your coupé’s VIN is checked before manufacturing.
My Nissan Z is from 2022 or later: is this the right page?
Yes. Every Nissan Z built since 2022 is a twin-turbo V6 RZ34, including the Japanese Fairlady Z and the cars some sellers call the “400Z” or, wrongly, the “370Z 2022+”. For a Nismo or a 2026 facelifted Z, we confirm compatibility from your VIN before manufacturing, as we do for every system.
What should be planned on the ECU side for the Z RZ34 after fitting?
Nothing with the cat-back alone: the factory map and the 405 hp stay in place. With the downpipe, an ECU remap at an approved tuner becomes the power lever, for a result that depends on the chosen tuning.
Can the Z RZ34 fitted with a Rog downpipe be presented at the vehicle inspection?
The 200-cell version with the valves closed is the one to use: the catalytic converter stays active and the coupé returns to a stock voice. With the 100-cell, the answer depends on the car and the rules in your country, and a decat RZ34 is for the track only.
Should I keep the factory valve control on the Z RZ34?
If the RZ34 has them, the exhaust uses them as they are, with no added electronics. Otherwise, the Rog remote opens or closes at any time, with a discreet box in the boot.
Nissan Z RZ34 V6 3.0: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
Nissan Z RZ34 V6 3.0: straight pipe or resonator?
On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.

Nissan Z RZ34 V6: the Z line finds its voice again, the exhaust guide
The Nissan Z RZ34 continues a line of front-engined, rear-wheel-drive sports coupés, with a 3.0-litre biturbo V6 that delivers 405 hp and 475 Nm. A lively, playful temperament, but a voice filtered twice over: first by the turbos, then by...
