Configuration
Audi TT / TT Roadster 8S 2.0 TFSI Valved Exhaust System (2015-2023)

Operated by remote control, factory-paired.
Estimated at 0.50 m from the outlet, 45°, 2,000 rpm with a warm engine. Allow ± 2 dB depending on the engine and measuring point. A 3 dB difference is audible in a direct comparison; 10 dB sounds roughly twice as loud.
Configuration guide

The Audi TT / TT Roadster 8S 2.0 TFSI exhaust in detail.
The third-generation TT, type 8S, kept the turbocharged 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder from 2015 to 2023, at several outputs depending on the model year: from 197 hp and 320 Nm to 245 hp and 370 Nm for the facelifted 45 TFSI. All share a factory exhaust tuned to stay discreet. The TTS 8S and the five-cylinder TT RS 8S have their own page.
Yet the TT 8S’s TFSI only needs a better-designed layout to gain character: with the valves open, our valved cat-back replaces the factory trickle of sound with a full tone and crackles on the overrun, then everything becomes hushed again as soon as you close them. The aim is a rewarding, controlled voice, not volume at any cost.
Four round exits finish the system, fixed with clamps and gaskets, without welding, in about two hours. The valve actuation on the TT 8S is not documented in our records: if yours has factory valves, we check via the VIN that their control can be retained; otherwise, the Rog remote, with its box in the boot, operates them at the press of a button.
Here the “Manifold” option corresponds to the downpipe, which leaves the turbo and contains the catalytic converter. As the TT is often used every day, we recommend the 200-cell version, which keeps emissions control; the 100-cell is accepted or not depending on the car and the rules in your country, while the decat version is reserved for track use. As long as the map remains Audi’s, it brings sound and a little less weight, but no horsepower. Both materials in the catalogue apply to the TT 8S: 304 stainless steel with a round sound, titanium around 40% lighter and clearer at high revs.

Questions about the Audi TT / TT Roadster 8S 2.0 TFSI exhaust.
Do all power outputs of the TT 8S 2.0 TFSI share this exhaust?
The page covers the TT 8S 2.0 TFSI from 2015 to 2023, across all power outputs. Your VIN, requested with the order, lets us confirm your version’s compatibility before manufacturing.
Which Stage 2 is published for the TT 8S 45 TFSI?
The cat-back imposes no ECU remap. The 340 hp and 470 Nm published for the 245 hp 45 TFSI assume the downpipe and a new map at an approved tuning centre.
Vehicle inspection: what precautions for a valved TT 8S?
Close the valves and the four-cylinder returns to its stock sound. Gas treatment does not change as long as the TT keeps the cat-back alone or the 200-cell downpipe. For a 100-cell downpipe, everything depends on the car and the rules in your country; in decat form, it restricts the TT to track days.
Does this apply to my TT 8S Roadster?
Yes. The TT 8S coupé and the TT 8S Roadster take the same Rog system: same chassis, same 2.0 TFSI, same clamp-and-gasket fitting. Your VIN is only used to confirm the version and model year before manufacturing.
Audi TT / TT Roadster 8S 2.0 TFSI: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
Audi TT / TT Roadster 8S 2.0 TFSI: straight pipe or resonator?
On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.
