The Chevrolet Corvette C7 exhaust in detail.
The Corvette C7’s LT1 descends from the Chevrolet small-block, the most produced engine in history: a naturally aspirated 6.2-litre overhead-valve V8 whose rumble is recognisable in a second. In Europe, its standard exhaust filters it heavily, and the real sound potential far exceeds what you hear as it leaves the factory.
The page is for the LT1-engined C7, from 2014 to 2019: 461 hp and 624 Nm, or 466 hp and 630 Nm with the factory Performance exhaust. On the C8 side, the Stingray Z51 and the Z06 each have a separate system and page. For another C7 variant, the check goes through your VIN, before manufacturing.
With the valves open, the Rog valved cat-back gives a deep rumble at idle and a thunderous climb, punctuated by bangs on the overrun. With the valves closed, the V8 settles down, as close to stock as possible, for early-morning departures. Clamps and gaskets are enough, no welding: about two hours on a lift. If the C7 has its factory valves, they follow their usual control; otherwise, the Rog remote operates them.
No front section is sold on this page: the system fits behind the factory catalytic converters, with no ECU remap. On a naturally aspirated engine, it is the voice that gains the most anyway, well ahead of the figures. Four round tailpipes finish the system, in 304 stainless steel for year-round driving or in titanium, around 40% lighter for the same design, finished in brushed, gold or purple beneath the C7’s diffuser.

Questions about the Chevrolet Corvette C7 6.2 exhaust.
Does the system fit every Corvette C7?
It is designed for the C7 with the LT1 V8 from 2014 to 2019, with or without the factory Performance exhaust. For a version with a different engine, we make no claim: your Corvette’s VIN lets us check before manufacturing.
Does the Corvette C7’s LT1 benefit from an ECU remap with this system?
The cat-back fits on an LT1 left stock, without an ECU remap. On a naturally aspirated V8, a map would bring a modest gain; what you are buying here is the voice, the breathing and a little less weight.
Chevrolet Corvette C7 LT1 V8 6.2 with a Rog exhaust: what should you know about vehicle inspection?
Nothing can be promised, but everything points that way: the factory catalytic converters stay in place, as this page does not replace them, and with the valves closed the LT1 regains a discretion close to standard.
On the motorway, is the Corvette C7 with a Rog exhaust still liveable?
Yes. With the valves closed, the motorway passes without drone; open, the V8 speaks up again. You switch from one to the other via the factory control, or via the Rog remote if the car has no valves.
Does the Corvette C7 convertible take the same system as the coupé?
Yes. The coupé and the convertible take the same Rog system: same chassis, same engine, same clamp-and-gasket fitting. Your VIN is only used to confirm the version and model year before manufacturing.
Chevrolet Corvette C7 6.2: straight pipe or resonator?
On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.
