The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C8 Z51 exhaust in detail.
With the C8, the Corvette placed its V8 right behind the occupants. The 2020 to 2026 Stingray Z51 houses a 6.2-litre naturally aspirated small-block, rated at 482 hp and 613 Nm in its European version. This is the car this page is for; the C8 Z06 with the 5.5 engine and the C7 each have their own, and we use your VIN to confirm compatibility before manufacturing.
Mid-engined or not, the sound recipe remains American: a deep rumble at idle and thick shove under load. The stock system keeps a good share of it, especially in Europe. With the Rog valved cat-back, also known as a valve exhaust, the V8 expresses itself fully once the valves are open; closed again, the C8 returns to a sound close to stock and goes unnoticed in town.
Under the Stingray, no welding: clamps, gaskets and about two hours, then the factory valves, if present, keep their control; failing that, the two-button Rog remote decides for you.
The “Manifold” option on this page replaces the front section that carries the catalytic converters, just behind the mid-mounted engine. On a naturally aspirated engine, the gain from such a part is real but modest: around 3 to 8% with an ECU remap, and mostly sound without one. For the C8, emissions control is maintained by the 200-cell version, the 100-cell is accepted or not depending on the car and the rules in your country, and the decat version is reserved for track use, at a supervised track day. 304 stainless steel or titanium, around 40% lighter and offered in brushed, gold or purple, dresses the four round tailpipes.

Questions about the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C8 Z51 exhaust.
Is a Corvette Stingray C8 without the Z51 pack compatible?
The page is designed for the Stingray C8 Z51 from 2020 to 2026. For a C8 without this pack, we cannot confirm it without your VIN: send it and we check before manufacturing.
With the front section, does the C8 Z51’s V8 need an ECU remap?
Not with the cat-back alone, which leaves the factory ECU intact. If you also replace the front section, an ECU remap can turn that flow into a modest gain, around 3 to 8% on this naturally aspirated V8.
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C8 Z51 with a Rog exhaust: what should you know about vehicle inspection?
Closed valves, and original catalytic converters or a 200-cell front section: that is how the Stingray should be presented. The 100-cell will be judged according to the car and the country’s rules; in decat form, the car never leaves the circuit.
What exactly does the “Manifold” option replace on the C8?
The front part of the system, the one that carries the factory catalytic converters, between the engine and the cat-back. On the Stingray, it is mainly for those tuning the engine; for the sound alone, the cat-back is already enough.
Does the Corvette Stingray C8 convertible take the same system as the coupé?
Yes. The coupé and the convertible take the same Rog system: same chassis, same engine, same clamp-and-gasket fitting. Your VIN is only used to confirm the version and model year before manufacturing.
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C8 Z51: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
