The Jaguar XE X760 exhaust in detail.
Jaguar’s compact saloon, the XE X760, launched in 2015, receives a 250 hp, 365 Nm turbo engine in the version this page covers. Jaguar has always cared about the sound of its sports cars, but on the XE the factory exhaust remains tuned for regulations, and the restraint is real.
Yet the XE’s turbo engine responds well to a well-crafted exhaust: with the valves open, the Rog valved cat-back gives it an assertive feline tone and crisp crackles on the overrun, then the hushed British elegance returns as soon as the valves close.
With clamps and gaskets, without welding, fitting takes about two hours, and the factory valve control is kept if the saloon has one; otherwise, the Rog remote and its box in the boot take over, with the VIN of each XE checked before manufacturing.
Between the turbo and the cat-back, the XE keeps a downpipe carrying the catalytic converter, a part the page replaces under the “Manifold” option. On an otherwise stock saloon, it only changes the voice and a few kilos; with a suitable map, it frees up power, to an extent set by the tune. An everyday XE will keep its emissions control with the 200-cell version; the 100-cell will be accepted or not depending on the car and the rules in your country, and the decat version is reserved for track use, a marginal use for a saloon of this kind. 304 stainless steel or titanium, around 40% lighter and offered in three colours.

Questions about the Jaguar XE X760 exhaust.
My Jaguar XE X760 does not have 250 hp: does the system suit it?
We cannot confirm it in advance: the page only describes the 250 hp, 365 Nm version, and it is your XE’s VIN, checked before manufacturing, that will settle it.
When does an ECU remap become worthwhile on a Jaguar XE X760?
When the downpipe joins the cat-back: the map then turns that flow into power, depending on the tune, whereas the cat-back alone works with the standard ECU.
For the vehicle inspection, what should be checked on a modified XE X760?
That the valves are closed and that the downpipe is factory or 200-cell: the saloon then keeps a standard voice and an active catalytic converter. For an XE with the 100-cell, the outcome depends on the car and the country, and a decat XE has no business outside a circuit.
For business trips, does a modified Jaguar XE X760 keep its comfort?
Yes, with the valves closed: the original British elegance is preserved, with no drone on the motorway, and the feline tone only returns on command, via the factory modes or the Rog remote.
Jaguar XE X760: straight pipe or resonator?
On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.
