    LamborghiniHuracán

The Lamborghini Huracán STO exhaust in detail.

Designed for the track but registered for the road, the Huracán STO gets a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 mounted mid-rear, with no turbo or hybrid assistance, sending 640 hp and 565 Nm to the rear wheels alone. This page covers its production from 2021 to 2024. Its sisters, the Tecnica, EVO Spyder and original Huracán, are covered on other pages.

Its voice is high-pitched and sharp, with a gruff rumble at idle and an intensity that builds all the way to the limiter. From the factory, it remains present but restrained, clear at full load and subdued in everyday use. With the valves open, our valved cat-back frees the V10 across its full range, with downshifts that crack; with them closed, the STO becomes more civilised for transit runs between two circuits.

Fitting requires no welding: clamps and gaskets connect the system, and the factory valve control is retained where it exists; otherwise, the Rog remote. 304 stainless steel for toughness, or titanium around 40% lighter for the same design, in keeping with the STO’s lightweight spirit, in brushed, gold or purple.

The page sells the “Manifold” option, which would replace the manifolds and their catalytic converters, although the STO’s front part is not yet documented in our records: we check it against your VIN before manufacturing. Even on a car this radical, the 200-cell version remains the only one that keeps emissions control for the road; in 100-cell form, the part is accepted or not depending on the vehicle and your country’s rules, and its decat version is reserved for track use. In terms of figures, a non-turbo V10 only gains 3 to 8% after an ECU remap.

Questions about the Lamborghini Huracán STO 5.2 V10 exhaust.

As the owner of a Tecnica, can I order the Huracán STO system?

The guide links the two sets of mechanicals, but each car has its own page and we list them separately. Choose the page for your model; the VIN, checked when you order, confirms the right system.

Remapped with its manifolds, what does a Huracán STO deliver?

The cat-back alone fits without an ECU remap; manifolds and a full map lead, according to the page, to 680 hp and 625 Nm, a measured gain typical of non-turbo engines.

Huracán STO fitted with the system and the vehicle inspection: how should I go about it?

Present it with the valves closed and with complete emissions control, meaning cat-back only or 200-cell manifolds. The 100-cell depends on the vehicle and your country’s rules; in decat form, the STO is reserved for track use.

Titanium or 304 stainless steel: which suits the Huracán STO best?

Titanium, around 40% lighter for the same design, extends the STO’s hunt for weight savings and gives a more metallic note. 304 stainless steel keeps a full sound and remains the safe bet.

Lamborghini Huracán STO 5.2 V10: Does a valved exhaust system drone?

No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
