The Lotus Evora exhaust in detail.
The Evora’s naturally aspirated V6 sings right behind your shoulders, but muted: the factory exhaust keeps most of it to itself. This Toyota-sourced 3.5-litre 2GR-FE, renowned for its reliability, deserves better. With the valves open, the Rog valved cat-back gives it a freed-up tone and a frank presence at high revs, with crisp crackles on the overrun; with the valves closed, the Evora becomes the civilised GT for long stages again.
The page is for the naturally aspirated Evora, 280 hp and 342 Nm, from the 2010 to 2015 model years. The Evora S, which adds a supercharger, and the Evora GT410 have their own pages, as do the Emira and the Exige S3. We use your VIN to check compatibility before manufacturing.
Under the Evora, fitting remains a matter of clamps and gaskets, no welding, and takes about two hours on a lift. An Evora equipped with factory valves keeps their control; the others receive the Rog remote, whose small box slips into the boot. The tips can be chosen in chrome, gloss black or blued titanium.
The page also offers, under the “Manifold” option, this V6’s catalysed front section. Without forced induction, the gain is real but modest, 3 to 8%, and only exists with an ECU remap; the 200-cell version maintains emissions control. True to the Lotus spirit, titanium takes around 40% of the weight out of 304 stainless steel for the same design and comes in brushed, gold or purple; stainless steel remains the robust choice for year-round driving. The system can thus be ordered as a cat-back alone or with its front section, depending on how you use the car.

Questions about the Lotus Evora 3.5 V6 exhaust.
My Evora has a supercharger: should I choose a different page from this one?
Yes: the supercharged Evora S has its own page, as does the Evora GT410. This one covers the naturally aspirated 3.5-litre Evora from 2010 to 2015. Send us your VIN to remove any doubt before manufacturing.
Does the Evora need an ECU remap after fitting?
Not for the cat-back: the 2GR-FE and its ECU stay untouched. With the sports front part, an ECU remap at an approved tuner makes use of the flow, for a modest gain on this naturally aspirated engine; the result depends on the car and the tuner.
Lotus Evora V6 3.5 2GR-FE with a Rog exhaust: what should you know about vehicle inspection?
With the valves closed, the Evora returns to a discretion close to factory, the best way to present it. Emissions control is retained with the cat-back alone or the 200-cell front section; in 100-cell form, acceptance depends on the vehicle and your country’s rules; in decat form, the car is reserved for track use.
Which tips should you choose for an Evora?
The tailpipes come in chrome, gloss black or blued titanium, to match the car’s colour. Have a particular finish in mind? Send us a photo of your Evora and we will look together at what suits it.
Lotus Evora 3.5 V6: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
Lotus Evora 3.5 V6: straight pipe or resonator?
On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.
