    A question about this exhaust?

The McLaren Artura / Artura Spider exhaust in detail.

The Artura opens Woking’s hybrid era with a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 with a 120-degree vee, backed by an electric motor: 700 hp and 720 Nm combined. This page covers the Spider built since 2024 and the coupé from the 2025 model year, which share the same exhaust; for an older coupé, your VIN lets us check before starting manufacturing. The brand’s V8s, the 570S and 720S, have their own systems.

Wide and compact, this V6 has real sound potential, which the factory exhaust, tuned for the latest regulations, only partly exploits. With the valves open, the Rog valved cat-back unleashes its high-pitched, technical tone, asserts its presence at high revs and makes lift-offs crack. With the valves closed, the hybrid refinement remains intact, and electric mode keeps its stealth: without combustion, nothing passes through the exhaust.

The front part of this forced-induction engine is a downpipe, catalytic converter included, which the page offers under the “Manifold” option. It is only worthwhile for power with an ECU remap; without a map, expect sound and a little less weight. Chosen in 200-cell form, it lets the Artura clean its emissions just as it did from the factory.

Under the Artura, nothing is welded: the exhaust is attached with clamps and gaskets, and a workshop equipped with a lift fits it in about two hours. If your Spider has factory valves, their control through the drive modes is retained; otherwise, the Rog remote takes charge. 304 stainless steel with a full sound, or titanium around 40% lighter for the same design and offered in brushed, gold or purple: a logical choice on a hybrid where every kilo counts.

Questions about the McLaren Artura / Artura Spider 3.0 V6 exhaust.

My Artura is a coupé: can the Spider system fit it?

Yes for a coupé from the 2025 model year or later: it uses the Spider’s redesigned exhaust and its 700 hp, and takes the same Rog system. For a 2022 to 2024 coupé, with 680 hp and a different factory exhaust, send us the VIN: we check before any manufacturing.

Hybrid and remapped: does the Artura cope with a map after the downpipe?

It is what turns the downpipe’s extra flow into power, and what recalibrates the sensor placed after the catalytic converter. Our page does not yet publish a Stage 2 figure for this hybrid V6, and the result will depend on the tuner you choose. The cat-back on its own needs nothing at all.

McLaren Artura Spider V6 3.0 hybrid with a Rog exhaust: what should you know about vehicle inspection?

Close the valves: the Artura becomes as discreet as on delivery day. On the emissions side, nothing changes as long as the factory front section, or its 200-cell replacement, stays fitted to the Spider. If you chose the 100-cell version, it will be accepted or not depending on the car and the rules in your country; in decat form, the Spider is strictly for track use.

Does the Artura’s electric mode change with the Rog system?

No change: the exhaust only comes into play when the combustion engine is burning fuel. In electric mode, the Artura still glides along in silence, and it is when the V6 wakes up that you choose the tone, valves open or closed.

McLaren Artura / Artura Spider 3.0 V6: Does a valved exhaust system drone?

No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
