The Mercedes-Benz C200 W206 / S206 exhaust in detail.
The downsizing principle, applied to the C-Class: the 2023-2026 C200 W206 entrusts its 204 hp and 300 Nm to a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder. Small displacement, torque available early, everyday flexibility; the feeling of running short never arises. The only drawback: you perceive almost nothing of the engine, and the car seems to move without any mechanicals.
Yet a small four-cylinder has a lively, light voice, with a grain that hardens under acceleration and the turbo whoosh in the background. The Rog cat-back, a valved exhaust, gives it a deeper sound at start-up and better-accompanied acceleration. With the valves closed, the C200 keeps the discretion of a premium saloon on the commute.
With no welding, fitting this system made for your VIN takes a mechanic about two hours, clamps and gaskets included. Factory valves are retained if present; otherwise, the Rog remote with its box in the boot. The C43 W206 AMG and the older C200 / C300 W205 have their own pages.
The “Manifold” option targets the 1.5-litre’s downpipe, the one that contains the catalytic converter; the exact engine is checked when ordering. The 200-cell, which keeps emissions control, is more than enough for a saloon of this calibre; the 100-cell version depends on the car and the rules in your country, and the one without a catalytic converter is reserved for track use. No Stage 2 is published for this engine, and without an ECU remap the gain remains in the sound. 304 stainless steel for most C200s, titanium for those who want around 40% less mass and a signature colour.

Questions about the Mercedes-Benz C200 W206 / S206 1.5 turbo exhaust.
Does a 2022 or 2024 C200 W206 fall within the scope of this page?
Our page for the cat-back covers the 2023-2026 C200 W206 1.5 turbo only. For another model year, send us your VIN: we check before manufacturing. The C300 2.0 is not covered by this page.
Does the C200 W206 need an ECU remap?
Not for the cat-back: the 1.5-litre keeps its 204 hp and its ECU. The page publishes no Stage 2 figure; if you add the downpipe, only an ECU remap turns that flow into power, with a result specific to each tuner.
Mercedes-Benz C200 W206 1.5 turbo with a Rog exhaust: what should you know about vehicle inspection?
With the cat-back only or the 200-cell sports catalytic converter, emissions control is retained: present the car with the valves closed. The 100-cell brings more sound and flow, and whether it is accepted at the emissions test depends on the car and local rules; the decat version is intended for track use.
Does the C200 become loud day to day?
No: as long as the valves stay closed, the saloon keeps its acoustic comfort, including on the motorway. The extra voice only appears when you open them.
Does the C200 S206 estate take the same system as the saloon?
Yes. The W206 saloon and the S206 estate take the same Rog system: same chassis, same 1.5-litre turbo, same clamp-and-gasket fitting. Your VIN is only used to confirm the version and model year before manufacturing.
Mercedes-Benz C200 W206 / S206 1.5 turbo: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
