The Audi A4 / A4 Avant B8 3.2 FSI V6 exhaust in detail.
No turbo under the bonnet of this A4 B8: the 3.2 FSI is a naturally aspirated 3.2-litre V6 with direct injection, delivering 265 hp and 330 Nm progressively and giving its best in the upper half of the rev range. The page covers 2007 to 2012 and targets the A4; the A5 is not yet documented in our records, so your VIN is the judge before manufacturing.
A naturally aspirated V6 has a hoarser, more metallic voice than a four-cylinder, and every climb through the revs is worth listening to. On the stock A4, only a distant hum remains. With the valved Rog cat-back and the valves open, the sound is deep at idle, then brighter and brighter as the revs rise, and every gear becomes a little climb you want to prolong. With the valves closed, the saloon becomes hushed again.
This page does not sell a front section: the system only replaces the part located after the factory catalytic converters, which stay in place. On a naturally aspirated engine, the extra breathing remains modest and the factory power does not change without an ECU remap. The page nevertheless quotes Stage 2 figures of 289 hp and 368 Nm, achieved with a full ECU remap.
Fitting with clamps and gaskets, no welding, in about two hours, with round tailpipes. If your A4 has factory valves, the system retains their control; otherwise, the Rog remote and its box in the boot open them at the press of a button. 304 stainless steel for robustness, titanium around 40% lighter and more crystalline at high revs, in brushed, gold or purple.

Questions about the Audi A4 / A4 Avant B8 3.2 FSI V6 exhaust.
Can my A5 3.2 FSI take the A4 B8 V6 system?
Our page only names the 2007 to 2012 A4 B8 3.2 FSI. For an A5 with the 3.2 engine, send us the VIN before ordering: we check and reply with no obligation.
Does the A4 B8’s V6 3.2 FSI benefit from an ECU remap?
No, the system works with the original engine management and the V6 keeps its 265 hp. A full ECU remap exists: the page shows 289 hp and 368 Nm at Stage 2. On this naturally aspirated engine, the difference remains measured.
Audi A4 B8 3.2 FSI V6 with a Rog exhaust: what should you know about vehicle inspection?
The factory catalytic converters do not move, since this page replaces no front part: emissions control is intact. Present the Audi with the valves closed, and the V6 then returns to a sound level close to factory.
Why no manifold option on the A4 B8 3.2 FSI?
No reliable front section is documented in our records for this naturally aspirated V6. We would rather offer nothing than an unverified part: the system fits after the factory catalytic converters.
Does the A4 Avant B8 3.2 FSI take the same system as the saloon?
Yes. The A4 saloon and the A4 Avant B8 take the same Rog system: same chassis, same 3.2 FSI V6, same clamp-and-gasket fitting. Your VIN is only used to confirm the version and model year before manufacturing.
Audi A4 / A4 Avant B8 3.2 FSI V6: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
Audi A4 / A4 Avant B8 3.2 FSI V6: straight pipe or resonator?
On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.
