BentleyContinental GT / Flying Spur (2004-2012)
The Bentley Continental GT / GTC W12 exhaust (2004 to 2010) in detail.
The first Continental GT, from 2004 to 2010, hides a 6.0-litre W12 under its long bonnet: two narrow-angle VR6 blocks joined on a common crankshaft, fed by two turbos. It produces 560 hp and 650 Nm, with continuous thrust at any pace. The 2011 to 2013 Continental GT W12, the GT V8 and the Flying Spur each have their own page.
A twelve-cylinder does not roar like a V8: its voice is denser and smoother, a broad rumble in which the combustions merge into one another. Behind the factory exhaust, only a hushed whisper remains, to the point that many owners do not know what their engine has to say. With the valves open, our valved cat-back brings a start-up that announces itself and a silky rumble that swells with every burst of acceleration; with the valves closed, the Bentley regains its cocooned atmosphere.
Our page covers the Continental GT W12 and its GTC convertible version. At the end of the system, paired round tailpipes; under the car, clamps and gaskets, no welding, for about two hours of fitting. Original valves retained if present, otherwise the Rog remote, with its box in the boot.
On this twin-turbo, the “Manifold” option on the page replaces the downpipes, which leave the turbos with the catalytic converters. For a GT that eats up the miles, the 200-cell downpipes make the most sense since they keep emissions control; with 100 cells, they are accepted or not depending on the car and the rules in your country, and their decat version is reserved for track use. Without an ECU remap, the 560 hp remain unchanged. 304 stainless steel suits the W12’s bass; titanium, around 40% lighter, adds a more metallic sparkle and comes in brushed, gold or purple.

Questions about the Bentley Continental GT / GTC W12 6.0 exhaust.
Can my Continental GTC W12 convertible take this system?
Yes. The first-generation GT coupé and GTC W12 convertible share the chassis and the W12: the Rog system is built to your VIN and fitted with clamps and gaskets. Your VIN is only used to confirm the version and model year before manufacturing.
Which Stage 2 for a 560 hp Continental GT W12?
The cat-back works without an ECU remap. The first-generation W12 reaches 656 hp and 788 Nm in Stage 2 according to the page, provided you add the downpipes and entrust the map to a tuner who knows the platform.
Before vehicle inspection, what should be set on a first-generation Continental GT W12?
Present it with the valves closed, and the W12 regains the muffled murmur of the standard car. On the gas side, the cat-back alone and the 200-cell downpipes leave the catalytic converters working. With the 100-cell, acceptance depends on the vehicle and your country’s rules; the decat Bentley is reserved for the track.
What is the difference from the Continental GT W12 2011-2013 page?
Same engine layout, but a different generation, with power raised to 575 hp on the second. Each period has its own page; your VIN, checked when you order, confirms the right one.
Bentley Continental GT / GTC W12 6.0: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
Bentley Continental GT / GTC W12 6.0: straight pipe or resonator?
On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.
