BentleyContinental GT / Flying Spur (2004-2012)
The Bentley Continental Flying Spur W12 exhaust in detail.
Four doors, 6.0 litres and twelve cylinders arranged in a W: the Continental Flying Spur from 2005 to 2012 combines two narrow-angle VR6 blocks on a common crankshaft, fed by two turbos. The result, 560 hp and 650 Nm sent to all four wheels, moves the big saloon with disconcerting ease. The Continental GT coupés have their own pages.
A twelve-cylinder has a voice of its own: a continuous rumble, without jolts, that rises like a wave rather than in steps. Under the Flying Spur’s silencers, only a distant murmur remains, even when accelerating hard. With the valves open, our valved cat-back brings the W12 out of its reserve, deep and dense at start-up, broad and silky with every burst of acceleration; with the valves closed, the saloon regains the discretion expected of a Bentley.
On such a flexible engine, the exhaust is not about chasing horsepower: it decides the character on display. This page sells no front part, as none is documented in our records for the Flying Spur of this period; the exhaust fits after the original catalytic converters, which stay in place, and power does not change without an ECU remap.
Twin round tips mark the rear of the saloon, and the whole system connects without welding using clamps and gaskets, in about two hours. The original valves keep their control; without them, the Rog remote and its box in the boot take over. 304 stainless steel for a round bass, or titanium around 40% lighter, in brushed, gold or purple to suit the saloon’s colour.

Questions about the Bentley Continental Flying Spur W12 6.0 exhaust.
Can a Flying Spur W12 built in 2013 order this exhaust?
The page covers 2005 to 2012; 2013 also appears in part of our data. Your saloon’s VIN lets us decide before manufacturing starts.
No front section for the Flying Spur W12: why not?
Because the only Bentley front part we list concerns more recent Continentals. Rather than an unverified part, we limit the page to the cat-back, which already changes the W12’s whole voice.
Vehicle inspection: does a modified Flying Spur W12 change anything?
Not for emissions control, since the original catalytic converters stay in place. Present the saloon with the valves closed: the W12 returns to the hushed murmur of the stock car.
Does the Flying Spur W12 benefit from an ECU remap?
The system fits without an ECU remap. The page lists 656 hp and 788 Nm in Stage 2 with a full remap; with no front part sold here, it is first and foremost the voice that changes.
Bentley Continental Flying Spur W12 6.0: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
