    A question about this exhaust?

    BentleyContinental GT / GTC (2011-2017)

The Bentley Continental GT / GTC W12 exhaust (2011 to 2013) in detail.

With the second Continental GT, Bentley raised its 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 to 575 hp and 700 Nm. This page covers the 2011 to 2013 model years, GT coupé and GTC convertible, without extending to 2014 to 2018. The first generation from 2004 to 2010, the GT V8 and the 2019 to 2024 Continental W12 have their own pages.

The layout remains that of a very compact engine, two VR6 banks on a common crankshaft, and the factory exhaust, designed for absolute comfort, muffles the W12 to the extreme: you sense its strength, but you cannot hear its nature. With the valves open, our valved cat-back brings out a dense, smooth rumble that swells with every overtake. With the valves closed, the Continental becomes the hushed lounge that crosses a country without fatigue once again.

On this page too, the “Manifold” option refers to the downpipes fitted at the outlet of the two turbos, which carry the catalytic converters. On a Continental used for long journeys, the 200-cell downpipes make sense because they keep emissions control; the 100-cell versions are accepted or not depending on the car and the rules in your country, and the decat versions remain reserved for track use. As long as the map stays stock, the 575 hp do not change; only the sound and weight shift slightly.

For fitting, no welding: clamps, gaskets, about two hours, and twin round exits at the rear. The factory valve control is kept if there is one; otherwise, the Rog remote, whose box sits in the boot. 304 stainless steel or titanium, both suit this W12, the latter lightening the system by around 40% with a finish of your choice.

Questions about the Bentley Continental GT / GTC W12 6.0 exhaust.

Can my 2015 Continental GT W12 take this system?

The years 2014 to 2018 are not covered by this page. Send us your Bentley’s VIN: we look at what exists for it before any order.

Remapped, what does the 575 hp Continental GT W12 deliver?

The cat-back alone keeps the factory engine management. To reach the published 693 hp and 851 Nm, you need to add the downpipes and entrust the ECU remap to a specialist in the platform.

At vehicle inspection, how should I present a modified 2011-2013 Continental GT?

With the valves closed, the W12 returns to the reserve of the standard car. The cat-back alone and the 200-cell downpipes retain emissions control. Beyond that, a 100-cell is accepted or not depending on the vehicle and your country’s rules, and without a catalytic converter the Bentley becomes a track car.

How long does the exhaust for my 2011-2013 Continental GT take to arrive?

Manufacturing, started from your Bentley’s VIN, and free delivery take 20 working days after confirmation. After that, about two hours of fitting in the workshop of your choice.

Does the second-generation Continental GTC W12 take the same system?

Yes. The GT coupé and the GTC W12 convertible take the same Rog system: same chassis, same W12, same clamp-and-gasket fitting. Your VIN is only used to confirm the version and model year before manufacturing.

Bentley Continental GT / GTC W12 6.0: Does a valved exhaust system drone?

No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.

Bentley Continental GT / GTC W12 6.0: straight pipe or resonator?

On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.

Whether it belongs to the first series, from 2004 to 2010, or to the second generation, from 2011 to 2013, the Continental GT W12 rests on the same principle: a 6.0-litre twin-turbo twelve-cylinder in the service of grand touring. And...
