The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 exhaust in detail.
The fifth-generation Camaro ZL1, sold from 2012 to 2015, draws its 588 hp and 754 Nm from the LSA, a 6.2-litre supercharged V8 from the Chevrolet small-block line: overhead valves, big displacement, torque everywhere. The page is dedicated to it, and we build the system to your VIN, checked before manufacturing.
On this engine, two voices overlap: the rumble of the V8 and the whine of the supercharger. The factory exhaust holds back a good part of them. With the valves open, the valved Rog cat-back delivers a cavernous rumble at idle, a thunderous charge and crisp bangs on lift-off. With the valves closed, the ZL1 makes peace with the neighbours and returns to a sound level close to factory.
No need to weld under the Camaro: clamps, gaskets and about two hours are enough, with the factory control retained if the car has factory valves, and the two-button Rog remote, its box in the boot, operating them otherwise.
Under the “Manifold” option, the page offers the manifolds, which collect the gases as they leave the cylinders and incorporate the catalytic converter. Fitted without an ECU remap, they bring sound and a little less weight; with an ECU remap, the published Stage 2 figures for the ZL1 reach 700 hp and 905 Nm. On emissions control, the LSA keeps it with the 200-cell manifolds, the 100-cell version will be accepted or not depending on the car and the rules in your country, and the decat version is reserved for track use, for track days. Finally, four round outlets, in 304 stainless steel or in titanium around 40% lighter, the latter in brushed, gold or purple.

Questions about the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 V8 6.2 exhaust.
My Camaro is not a ZL1: can I order this system?
The page is for the LSA V8 Camaro ZL1 from 2012 to 2015. For another version or another generation, we assume nothing: send us your VIN and we check before building.
Does the Camaro ZL1’s LSA need an ECU remap with the system?
Not for the cat-back, which leaves the LSA’s map intact. With the manifolds, an ECU remap becomes the condition for the gain: that is how the ZL1 goes from its factory 588 hp to the 700 hp published for Stage 2.
Vehicle inspection: how does a modified Camaro ZL1 present?
With the valves closed, so that the V8 returns close to its stock voice, and with factory or 200-cell manifolds that keep the catalytic converters in service. The 100-cell is accepted or not depending on the vehicle and the country’s rules; the decat manifolds remain reserved for the circuit.
Stainless steel or titanium under a supercharged Camaro ZL1?
304 stainless steel keeps the deep, round grain that suits the V8 so well. Titanium removes around 40% of the weight for the same design, adds a metallic edge at high revs and comes in brushed, gold or purple.
Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 V8 6.2: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 V8 6.2: straight pipe or resonator?
On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.
