The Ferrari 430 Scuderia and 16M exhaust in detail.
The two sharpest versions of the 430 family share this page: the 430 Scuderia, a lightweight berlinetta designed for driving hard, and the Scuderia Spider 16M, its open-top variant. Both get the naturally aspirated 4.3-litre V8 in the rear mid-engine position, 510 hp and 470 Nm, for the 2007 to 2009 model years. The standard F430 and the 458 that succeeds it each have their own system; we use your VIN to confirm yours before manufacturing.
With its flat-plane crank, this V8 does not rumble: it screams, with a metallic, taut voice that gains brilliance up to the red line. Even on such a radical car, the factory exhaust rounds off the high notes and erases nuances. The valved Rog cat-back restores that clarity across the whole rev range when you open it; with the valves closed, the Scuderia becomes more civilised for transit and town.
No cutting on a car of this value: band clamps and gaskets are enough, and an equipped mechanic completes the fitting in about two hours. The valves connect to the factory control if the car has one; failing that, a Rog remote, linked to a small box in the boot, operates them whatever the drive mode.
The page also offers the front section under the “Manifold” option: on the Scuderia, these are the pipes located just after the manifolds, which carry the catalytic converter and keep treating emissions in the 200-cell version. Their benefit is measured with an ECU remap and stays modest on a naturally aspirated engine, around 3 to 8%. 304 stainless steel for robustness, or titanium around 40% lighter in brushed, gold or purple: one more argument on a car where every kilo counts.

Questions about the Ferrari 430 Scuderia / 16M 4.3 V8 exhaust.
Is my Scuderia Spider 16M covered by this system?
Yes, the page covers the 430 Scuderia and the Scuderia Spider 16M, from 2007 to 2009, with the same 4.3-litre V8. The standard F430 has its own page, and it is your Scuderia’s VIN that we use to confirm everything before manufacturing.
Scuderia or 16M: is an ECU remap required with this exhaust?
Nothing mandatory with the cat-back alone, which the ECU accepts as it is. With the sports front pipes, an ECU remap at an approved tuner makes the most of them: for the Scuderia, the published Stage 2 figures are 558 hp and 517 Nm.
At vehicle inspection, how should I present a Scuderia fitted with a Rog system?
Present it with the valves closed: its sound level returns close to factory. Cat-back only or 200-cell front pipes, the catalytic converter keeps working. For 100-cell pipes, acceptance will depend on the vehicle and your country’s rules; a decat Scuderia, for its part, is reserved for track use, its favourite playground.
Titanium or stainless steel on a 430 Scuderia?
On a lightweight berlinetta, titanium makes sense: around 40% lighter than stainless steel for the same design, with a more metallic note at high revs. 304 stainless steel keeps a fuller sound and remains the safe choice against salt and humidity.
Ferrari 430 Scuderia / 16M 4.3 V8: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
