    A question about this exhaust?

    LexusLFA

Which valved exhaust for a Lexus LFA?

The Rog system for the Lexus LFA (2010-2012) is a valved cat-back exhaust in 304 stainless steel or titanium, built to your VIN for the naturally aspirated 4.8-litre 1LR-GUE V10, 560 hp at 8,700 rpm. It is designed to free up more of the V10's harmonics and save weight, while respecting the original work; with the valves closed, discretion returns.

Sound, options and fitting in detail: our Lexus LFA guide.

The LFA’s 4.8-litre V10, developed with Yamaha, with an intake tuned like a musical instrument, is regularly named the finest sound in automotive history. Naturally aspirated, it delivers 560 hp and 480 Nm and revs to 9,000 rpm. Every example, produced from 2010 to 2012, is a treasure.

Our system for the LFA is designed in that spirit: free the V10’s harmonics even further, save weight, and fully respect the original masterpiece. With the valves open, the valved Rog cat-back lets the V10 sing all the way to the red line; with the valves closed, discretion returns. For an LFA project, we invite you to write to us: it deserves an exchange between enthusiasts.

Like every Rog system, the LFA’s is built to the car’s VIN, checked before production; it fits without welding, in about two hours, and leaves the factory valve control in place if it exists, with the Rog remote used otherwise.

Titanium or 304 stainless steel: on a car designed for lightness, titanium’s 40% weight saving carries weight, but the decision is made together with you.

Questions about the Lexus LFA V10 exhaust.

Why write to us before ordering a system for the Lexus LFA V10?

Because every LFA is a masterpiece, and the configuration, material and finish deserve to be chosen together. We take that time, then check your VIN before manufacturing.

Does the V10’s engine management need modifying to install the system on a Lexus LFA?

No. The cat-back respects the original engine management and the Yamaha-signed tuning. On this car, the system brings a weight saving and a greater sound dimension, not a quantified gain.

Is titanium the natural choice for the exhaust of a Lexus LFA V10?

Often, yes: around 40% lighter for the same design, it extends the car’s weight-saving philosophy and brings a crystalline note towards 9,000 rpm; 304 stainless steel remains more robust, and we can discuss it together.

Lexus LFA V10: Does a valved exhaust system drone?

No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
