The Porsche Macan 95B.1 2.0 exhaust in detail.

The Macan 95B.1 brought Porsche driving to the world of compact SUVs, with a precise chassis and standard all-wheel drive. In entry form, a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline four-cylinder propels it briskly: 237 or 252 hp and 350 or 370 Nm depending on the version, paired with the PDK gearbox. Our page covers 2014 to 2017; the V6 Macans of the same phase have their own system, and your VIN confirms yours before manufacturing.

On a turbocharged four-cylinder, the exhaust makes up a large part of the perceived character, and the factory Macan’s smooths everything out, to the point of making the engine anonymous given the badge. Its natural voice is dry and energetic, a muffled rumble low down, turbo whoosh under load. With the valves open, the Rog cat-back makes it fuller in every gear; with the valves closed, the Macan becomes the discreet SUV of the school run and the office again.

The front part of this four-cylinder is the catalysed downpipe that follows the turbo, which the page offers under the “Manifold” option. Combined with an ECU remap, it allows the 252 hp version to target the 315 hp and 462 Nm published for Stage 2; fitted on its own, it simply thickens the voice. In 200-cell form, the Macan continues to clean its emissions as it did from the factory.

About two hours on a lift are enough, with clamps and gaskets, no welding. The factory valve control is retained when the Macan has one; otherwise, the Rog remote, whose box sits in the boot, takes over. 304 stainless steel or titanium around 40% lighter for the same design, in brushed, gold or purple; behind the rectangular trim in the bumper sits a round pipe, which the tip dresses in chrome, gloss black or blued titanium.

Questions about the Porsche Macan 95B.1 2.0 turbo exhaust.

My 2016 Macan 2.0 has 252 hp: is it covered?

Yes, the Macan 95B.1 2.0 page covers both power levels, 237 and 252 hp, from 2014 to 2017. The VIN, checked before manufacturing, confirms the exact version of your SUV.

Can a Macan 2.0 95B.1 gain horsepower with the downpipe?

Yes, provided you remap, as the map is what turns the flow into power: the 252 hp version then reaches 315 hp and 462 Nm according to our page. The cat-back alone works without it.

Vehicle inspection for the Macan 2.0 95B.1: which downpipe should be kept?

Present the SUV with the valves closed and keep the factory downpipe or the 200-cell, the two configurations that retain emissions control. The 100-cell is judged depending on the vehicle and your country’s rules, which accept it or not; in decat form, a Macan leaves the road for use reserved for the track.

Why can’t you see the round exits on a Macan 2.0?

The Macan 2.0’s rear bumper carries a rectangular trim that hides a round pipe. The Rog tips, in chrome, gloss black or blued titanium, fit onto this pipe, behind the factory trim.

Porsche Macan 95B.1 2.0 turbo: Does a valved exhaust system drone?

No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
