The Porsche Macan GTS 95B.1 exhaust in detail.
More lively than powerful, the first-phase Macan GTS takes its 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 to 360 hp and 500 Nm, for model years 2016 to 2018. The 2.9-litre V6 GTS 95B.2 that succeeds it has its own page, as does the Macan Turbo 3.6; your VIN lets us confirm the right system before manufacturing.
Its voice is deep and slightly rough, thicker than you would expect from a six-cylinder, and hardens markedly under acceleration. The turbines already filter part of it, and the factory system delivers a polished version, well short of the badge’s sporting calling. With the valves open, the Rog cat-back gives the GTS a vocal start-up, a gruff note with every burst of acceleration and well-marked downshifts; with them closed, it becomes a discreet compact SUV again.
The catalysed downpipe is ordered under the “Manifold” option. With a map, our data publishes 410 hp and 630 Nm at Stage 2 for the GTS 95B.1; without one, the part acts on sound and mass, not power, and with 200 cells it lets the GTS treat its emissions as normal.
Band clamps and gaskets, no welding: about two hours in the workshop. A GTS with factory valves keeps leaving them to its drive modes; without them, the Rog remote decides. As for materials, titanium weighs around 40% less than 304 stainless steel for the same design and comes in three colours, from brushed to purple; as for the tips, they come in chrome, gloss black and blued titanium, for a rear end as bold as you like.

Questions about the Porsche Macan GTS 95B.1 3.0 V6 biturbo exhaust.
Macan GTS 95B.1 or 95B.2: how do I know which one I have?
Look at the year and the power: 2016 to 2018 and 360 hp for the 3.0-litre V6 GTS 95B.1, 2020 to 2021 and 380 hp for the 2.9-litre GTS 95B.2, covered on another page. If in doubt, the VIN decides.
How much does the Macan GTS 95B.1 gain with a downpipe and a map?
With the downpipe, our page quotes 410 hp and 630 Nm in Stage 2, compared with 360 hp and 500 Nm stock. The map also adjusts the post-catalyst sensor; the cat-back alone requires nothing.
Vehicle inspection: what precautions for a Macan GTS 95B.1 with a Rog system?
With the valves closed, it presents with the discretion of a family SUV, and the factory downpipe or its 200-cell version maintain its emissions control. A 100-cell will be judged according to the vehicle and your country’s rules, which accept it or not; in decat form, the GTS falls under track-only use.
Factory control or the Rog remote for a Macan GTS 95B.1?
A GTS delivered with valves keeps them under the authority of its drive modes, with no added box. Otherwise, the Rog remote lets you open or close them at the press of a button, whatever the mode.
Porsche Macan GTS 95B.1 3.0 V6 biturbo: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
Porsche Macan GTS 95B.1 3.0 V6 biturbo: straight pipe or resonator?
On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.
